MRB has a strong track record of making accurate, non-consensus calls, and providing clients with a clear roadmap to help them set their investment strategy.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Institutional Sales professional at MRB. The Institutional Sales role entails engaging with institutional clients, selling independent macroeconomic investment research, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience selling research to buy-side investment firms, ideally selling a macro product.
• Proven track record in developing commercial relationships with senior investment profes-sionals at the CIO/CEO/PM level.
• Established relationships within a specific region, as well as the ability to identify, target, and develop new business relationships.
• Execute all stages of the sales cycle, including initial phone contact, meeting prospects, plac-ing trials, relationship management and negotiating closing agreements.
• Speak confidently and with presence when dealing with prospective clients on phone or in meetings.
• Write clear and compelling proposals.
• Highly skilled and motivated self-starter with a strong commitment to teamwork, prefera-bly with experience of working as part of a global team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is considered an asset.
